A really great tool that many clients find helpful for healthy eating is meal planning. Going to the grocery store with a plan will not only save you time and money, it will set your healthy eating up to succeed. You won't have to reach for the frozen pizza or stop at McDonald's because you don't have the ingredients you need or you don't know what to cook. There might be some resistance because you might not like to plan or you need help coming up with meal ideas. Let's take some of the work out of it for you. First, there are so many great recipe apps like Yummly, Tasty, or Mealime. Second, get the family involved and get their input on what they would like to see for meals. Third, use a planner. Although I have not used one, there are several apps that make planning easy or download one of the paper copies below, along with a healthy food shopping list.
